OBEY OR GO TO HELL.

The desperate anti-information propaganda of the Philippine Church.  This is totalitarianism in the making.

Midnight Caller

“Stop calling me Chiquita. You don’t say that to girls you don’t even know.” - Jane Greet (The Big Steal, 1949)

I shot this at Heirloom Manila. A location I found through extensive research over the internet.

I met the family who owns the place. They were very inviting and friendly. One of the more memorable photos I’ve done in my earlier years in photography. It was the first time I had to navigate and drive myself to get to the location . Using friends as models who were happy to have their photos taken.

Mary’s Blue Hat

“The Hat was blue. It didn’t matter. It’s an Era Shoot at the fourth floor. No one would see.”

Mary came to me and asked me to shoot her. I usually won’t shoot people pro bono but I saw raw talent. She was planning to start up as a model. I invited other photographers to shoot her too. For a Novice Model with Zero Experience, I have to say; the photos came out quite nice!

Interesting how the color blue translates to very nice tone of gray.

What Brings You Here?

Yuki; wearing a gray top, sheer skirt, Chanel belt and black boots.  Like a vagabond wandering in the world of Fashion. Just add the laid back silhouettes and grand entrances, because it does make a lasting impression.

Now Directly quoting her.

Leave the bongga outfits for the many days to come!

Factory Girl

Multiple Exposure

We arrived at Cubao X early morning. It was peaceful and was a total contrast from the nightlife that happens in this place. It was like waking up in the province. The place we shot at feels like a run down shabby apartment from the bygone era. Wooden floors with accent brick walls that remind me of John and Yoko’s apartment.

Kitch & Karl

“The day was beautiful, sunny and cheerful. A day for taking photos. After shortlisting models over the Modelos Depot, I had to bring the girls to this little place called Kitch Cafe. It was so spontaneous. We took this photo right outside the driveway. A car could just drive by and render us… roadkill.

Now a fitting quote for the marketing students.

“I’m not a marketing person. I don’t ask myself questions. I go by instinct.” - Karl Lagerfeld
